Hello MN would anyone like to share the migraine/ vestibular migraine symptoms .
my symptoms are dizzy of balance foggy eyes vertigo. Sometimes i get a headache sometimes not plus nausea or being sick i dont get all of them at once thankfully.
I have heard that red sun glasses do help with dizzyness ill have to look in to that .
When i do get a bad one with the full migraine pain i do darken my flat as the i cant deal with the light.
So please if you want to add your tips and symptoms would be great and help others with a more up to date post 🙂

I’ve had an improvement with Botox and ( privately prescribed) Ajovy.) It makes it better but it’s a soul destroying illness isn’t it.

I find taking very small sips of ice cold water from a sports cap bottle helps with the nausea. Drinking from a glass let's too much water in my mouth and hits my throat and stomach differently.
I also have ondansatron from the GP but I try to limit its use - for some reason I can't remember.

I sometimes use a walking stick or rollator to help with balance if I'm very dizzy (but I have these for other illness. But you can pick up a stick cheaply if you need to function and are only having dizzy symptoms that day.

They are horrible. I take topirimate and think that has helped a good bit.

10 year old son gets pain in one eye and then is sick. Never an actual headache so far. We try one nurofen as soon as the eye pain comes on. Sometimes seems to head it off. Not diagnosed but we have not had much luck with medical appointments. We spent a year or in the system and ended up on a different pathway at the end of which he was signed off and I was told to go back to GP with the initial problem.... We have since seen a pediatrician and they said keep a diary for six months so that's what we are doing.

Just following really - I wish I had advice to give.
