Bed sizes

I will need to shop for a new bed. I am looking for a size that is not a single bed but not a double bed. A size in between single and double. So a large single bed is what I am looking for.

I thought a bed like that was known as a queen sized bed. Or it what 20 years ago I think. I had a look online and it said its a small double.

Is a small double what I am looking for?

Yes they are called small double

You just use normal double sheets on them they fit fine
