Looking at booking a holiday in November to Tenerife
We have found a good deal of £999pp all inclusive for 9 nights staying at the riu buenavista in playa pariso
Has anyone stayed in this area or even at the hotel ?
What's Tenerife like in November
We normally go to Gran Canaria

We've done all of the Canary Islands. Tenerife is our least favourite to be honest.

It's not a very pretty place compared to the others. It'd also the dirtiest island we've visited and had the most English influence. There were loads of English pubs and food. It didn't seem to have much of its own culture.

We're booked to go to Lanzarote again this summer but no plans to go back to Tenerife.

We stayed at that hotel last year and were really impressed. It was great for kids, great food and very relaxing. Ideal for a fly and flop. Tenerife in the south is utterly ghastly though I'm afraid. Filthy, over developed Blackpool in the sun. However, we had an excellent time at the hotel and Siam water park and appreciated the guaranteed sun.

The Golf Del Sur and El medano are very nice.

Been to Tenerife alot always had good times.

People saying its over commercialised obvs haven't explored all of Tenerife. There is always the North of tenerife too.

I quite liked Los Gigantes. If you take it for what it is. Would love to explore the north more though. We hired a car and it was a beautiful drive up to El Teide and down again onto the north west side. Definitely would book the north side if we went back.

Be great to go back 50 years before it got too busy.

Tenerife is fab. The North and South are very different. The South is very dry and almost desert like, it’s mostly man made resorts and is where most of the British tourists go. Costa Adeje is lovely, so is Los Cristianos. Las Americas is a bit rowdy and 18-30 ish if that’s what you like. The North is more green lush and more subtropical. It’s prone to rain and the weather can change very quickly. There’s also lots to do like Siam Park the biggest water park in the world, Teide the volcano and Loro Parque.

I thought Lanzarote was windy, dusty shit hole. Don’t get the love for it on here.

There are some nice areas of Las americas.

People commenting when they have only been to.one place on the island.

Bet some of the ones running it down have never been to El Medano or Los Abrigos?

Did you go? We are looking at this hotel for November 2024. Only thing putting me off is the beach or lack of it?

We went to San blas last year. Absolutely loved it. Such a lovely feel to the place, everyone really friendly, really relaxed atmosphere.

Attictroll · 28/06/2024 14:13
