Is it crazy to take a child to a walk in today for a cough?

My grandmother came to live with us 2 weeks ago and brought a cough with her. about a week ago she was hospitalized with a chest infection and is still in.

My dd is 7 and has been coughing from the first couple of days my grandmother was here but obviously i just thought it was a minor cough and just treated it as you normally would.

But the cough is still there and this morning seems even stronger . I have already missed all the gp appointments.

im having a worry that she will end up as ill as my grandmother - would it be crazy to just take her yo the walk in to just have someone listen to her chest to make sure?

I have been spending all day at the hospital im really tired and i dont feel like im making good choices right now! So any advice would be appreciated.

Unless she had sign of infection I'd leave it. Does she have a temp?

Just thought i would update - i did end up taking her in the end they were fab and could hear “crackles” in her lungs so she has antibiotics for a chest infection now as well!
