2 weeks ago when I fell from a horse broke my collar bone and 3 ribs. The pain was unutterable. :( still is pretty unpleasant.

Findyourneutralspace · 11/04/2023 22:18

Last weekend after a horrible row with DS.

MrsAvocet · 11/04/2023 22:18

I had a little sniffle this afternoon when I waved DS off on the train back to University.

MissingMoominMamma · 11/04/2023 22:18

About 40 minutes ago. We have had a recent bereavement and I was thinking about the person.

omega4ever · 11/04/2023 22:20

Twice last week... Finishing my first triathlon... Happy tears..... and then when on phone to a dear family member with terminal cancer.... Sad tears.

LizzieSiddal · 11/04/2023 22:22

Bluebells1970 · 11/04/2023 22:23

All the time. My Dad died from cancer at the end of January, and I miss him desperately. I miss his smell, his voice, his being at the end of the phone. It's like walking through quicksand getting by without him.

Motherscare · 11/04/2023 22:23

Yesterday, when we had our beloved cat put to sleep

Meggymoo777 · 11/04/2023 22:23

Friday night, was out for dinner with my parents, went for a cocktail after to a bar and realised that was the last place my Mum had met my friend who died 5 years ago. Came home and spent the rest of the night bawling crying.

QuiltedHippo · 11/04/2023 22:24

Last night as my LO is potty training and getting so grown up.
Got my period today which explains it!

TheChosenTwo · 11/04/2023 22:25

About 6 weeks ago for a reason but not one I want to elaborate on as it was too traumatic.
Before that was January at the funeral of a cherished friend taken far too soon by cancer. Before that was probably august at my grandad’s funeral. That’s a lot of crying for me, I’m not a crier day to day, week to week but I’ve faced a shitstorm recently!!

Hbh17 · 11/04/2023 22:26

Probably the last time I watched "Paddington 2", so a couple of years ago - happens everytime!

bellalou1234 · 11/04/2023 22:26

On my way to work a duck with loads of cute ducklings were crossing a busy road.. the traffic slowed down..I hope it did on the otherside. Poor duck looking for a better pond for her babies

Over the weekend after a particularly vile row with DH (which he started over nothing). Feeling very disrespected and unloved at the mo though don't know if it's my mental health playing up again....

PegasusReturns · 11/04/2023 22:26

I honestly can’t remember - probably a couple of years ago? I very rarely cry and almost never about things in my own life. Sometimes I get teary over a movie, can’t remember the last one that got to me though

Neolara · 11/04/2023 22:28

Last week at karaoke. Song came on that I associate with my Mum's dementia.

But if you close your eyes
Does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?
And if you close your eyes
Does it almost feel like you've been here before?
How am I gonna be an optimist about this?
How am I gonna be an optimist about this.

Always makes me cry. Got ambushed. Had to escape for a few minutes.

Today at some point, and yesterday and the day before that. Establishing breastfeeding is really hard and I'm in a lot of pain. 😞

Stratocumulus · 11/04/2023 22:28

Last week whilst listening to Bette Midler singing my favourite song. I have no idea why that song triggered me!

Rainbows89 · 11/04/2023 22:28

Omg I’m always crying. Earlier today over something about someone’s pet on instagram.

it’s like a few tears though not full on weeping

Angliski · 11/04/2023 22:31

In yoga, two hours ago. There was beautiful music on and a wonderful teacher and I was torn between feeling elated that my body can move and sad that it now has metal rods inside of it and is partly paralysed.

Highfivemum · 11/04/2023 22:32

Last night when I heard from a so called friend that my estrange family were celebrating a birthday in the family on luxury holiday abroad. Absolutely floored me and I don’t know why as have been estrange for years. My DB spent all day today being the lovely DB he is and cooking mine and DC dinner as DH working. But literally not sobbed like that since my DB and I were children. We are NC for reasons that I could never discuss and I am in a better place being NC abut this news just tipped me over. So called friend likes to gossip so will be reducing my friendship with her.

Wow this happened to me this week too! Except it was a country road, we managed to stop in time and mother duck got them all to safety. Still made me cry though from relief!

LeoDiCapricorn · 11/04/2023 22:34

Today visiting my mum & dad's grave. I've still not come to terms with them both being gone

Youkilledmyfatherpreparetodie · 11/04/2023 22:36

A couple of weeks ago watching The Last of Us, Episode 3. An amazing bit of television, pass the tissues.
