Could anyone suggest a holiday that fits these requirements? I'm absolutely stumped

It's for the 4 of us - me and my DH, 24 year old DD who doesn't live at home but will be joining us and 16 year old DS

Not been away for a holiday as a family for ages, mainly due to the kids being so different in age so would love to find something that suits us all.

Ideally for 4-5 nights (DD's job makes it tricky for longer)

Ideally somewhere hot! Looking at early July

Not too far away if abroad

Lots to do but not excursions particularly! Would like to be able to do fun stuff like paint balling, laser quest, water park etc

Also plenty of chill time round a pool maybe

Lots of great restaurants / food

I considered center parcs but my DH wasn't keen as he really doesn't like it there

So any ideas for me please? I'd be grateful

How about the Alps? You can do all those things and more in the summer. It’s also pretty warm. Likely to be plenty of availability then too.

A Mediterranean cruise on a large Royal Caribbean or MSC ship with lots of activities onboard and an interesting itinerary.

Alps is a good shout. Barcelona and Dubai also sprang to mind but not sure if they constitute as too far.

The posh bit of Lanzarote.

This....it's not an unusual set of criteria. Loads of places would fit the bill

Siam Park in Tenerife sounds like it'll fit the bill.. loads going on and loads of options locally

Tenerife, Los Christianos

I was thinking Malta unless that’s too far - places to see, trip to Gozo, boat trips out to the lagoons and rocks (which I’m struggling to remember the names of) where you get off and swim…..

Somewhere in Europe that's hot in July and has restaurants and activities?

No, sorry. Impossible.

You might like Madeira. Funchal has a salt water Lido, there's a water park a short taxi ride away, and lots of fun things to do including several cable cars.
