How long are replacement adult passports taking now?

I need a new one before July - not sure whether I should pay for a fast service or not.

Has anyone any recent experience of renewing their adult passport and if so, how long did it take?

Following! As I also need by July and sent mine off last week as a precaution. However I’ve now found out there are strikes so just worrying a bit :/

A friend just got hers back in a week

I’ve just had a message to say mine is on its way back - took 10 days once they’d received my documents.

My husband renewed his three weeks ago - it took 7 days - we were amazed.
