Do you belive dreams make sense? Husband cheating on me

I had a dream that woke me this morning in a panic which was my husband was cheating with a woman at work.

Were 10 years married and both me and husband have strong views about cheating. Were together only with each other and we trust each other completely in real life

But the dream was so vivid I knew about it months ago but let it slide, then our daughter found so I told him he needed to choose and why was he doing it . His reply was its a bit of fun and just a little bit of sex does no harm. It literally woke me up in such a state
I've spoken to my husband and told him about this.

Anyway the point is do you belive dreams are an image going forward in life ?

It's just a dream, nothing else.

A dream reflects your subconscious. It doesn't mean your husband is cheating on you but it may mean that you are worried your husband will cheat on you.

Often with my dreams I can tie it to something I've been reading or watching recently

I dream all sorts of nonsense. My ds had interchangeable heads last night, I can also fly, DH has taken up pole dancing, I'm trapped in a computer game, my house has hidden rooms, the sea contains monsters, James McAvoy is in love with me but I haven't time for him and on and on and on.

It’s just a dream. I have extremely vivid dreams from time to time including DH having an affair, they are upsetting but it’s just a bit of insecurity lurking in our subconscious. I find if I step outside into the fresh air I can shake it off quicker.

Agreeing with poster saying sometimes it’s something I have watched on tv and sometimes it’s from nowhere. I can’t watch the scary or overly dramatic dramas other people enjoy like for example Happy Valley, Games of Thrones. I would go crazy! It’s a shame but we are all different.

It's just a dream. Whenever I have had a dream about DH cheating I wake up furious with him though and find it hard to get rid of the feeling. Poor man must wonder what he has done to piss me off!

I regularly dream I am being chased by dinosaurs. I don't believe it means anything really, it's just one of my fears.

I had a dream my ex sil and ex husbands new girlfriend came to get my son she was smoking in a huge car several things are wrong with this she doesn't smoke she doesn't have a big car, why the fuck would they be getting ds? where was my car if hers was outside my house? 😂 its just real life fears being played out reality is I'm not afraid of his (abusive) dad taking ds im afraid of "another woman" taking him analysing my own fears here my son is a teenager now and inevitably pulling away from me but he will never ditch me for his dad so that's a comfort 😂

I should mention ex sil and dads girlfriend are actually nice and I was happy for ds to go so even my subconscious is reasonable

No, I dreamt I slept with our architect. In the same dream, my young son had become a missionary priest and was walking around the local park in a procession, in a white alb with a large sunflower in his buttonhole, and a school mum I barely know was running the 100 metres in the Olympics, but dressed in fencing gear.

The dream sex was great, mind you.

This is true. My dreams often feature things that have been happening in my life, usually jumbled up, and I think things that have been on your mind can seep into your subconscious.
