Did you have the kids you imagined?

Just for fun.

I always thought I would have 2 kids of the same sex. I don't know why and I know its ridiculous, but it's just what I imagined for my life. I think it's because it was the family I had with my mum (my sister and I are 1 year apart). I am interested to see what I actually end up having and if I stop at 2!

I thought I'd have two DS's or one of each. I've got two DDs and love how things have turned out. They're also so different from each other - I could have never guessed they'd arrive with such fully formed personalities

No I imagined I'd have a girl and a boy which I did but then had a surprise daughter.
I imagined I'd be watching my son play football and my daughter dancing but they are autistic and so I'm a 24/7 carer parent.
It's tough but I love them way more than i can put into words 🥰

I thought I’d have an older girl and younger boy, 2-3 years between them, and that’s what I did have! I think I imagined that because that’s what I had with my brother. Like Yuko, I never imagined they’d come with such big personalities already there, it’s made me rethink the whole nature nurture thing. Never imagined I’d have a deaf child either. Actually, when the doctor told me she was deaf I went “oh no, she can’t be deaf, nothing interesting ever happens to me!”

I always hoped I’d have two girls and that’s what I got so I’m very happy with that 🥰

Yes, I actually do! An older boy and a younger girl with a 2 year age gap!
