I want to take my daughter on holiday and she finishes college mid June so I was looking at last week in June. We are in England. I thought it would be much cheaper in June then peak school holiday time but when I’ve checked the prices are not that different. We haven’t been abroad since 2017 so it’s been awhile.
I want a nice hotel in Spain, Portugal or Cyprus. Don’t want Turkey, Bulgaria or Tunisia. I’d like four stars or above. All inclusive. Seem to be averaging around £1000 per person

The last week in June is the first week of many Scottish school holidays. (I finish on the 23rd this year) We usually find things a bit cheaper than mid July. By that point the Spanish schools are on holiday by that point.

That’s the start of school holidays in Scotland - so yes, the costs soar.

In Ireland Second Level Schools finished in June and is an very popular time to go away if you do not have Primary Level children.

As PP said. The Irish schools finish at the end of May for secondary and end June for primary.

And that's when it's hot so people without children go away then. It counts as peak holidays.
