What have been your parenting fails? (Light hearted)

When our son was about 12/13, as a joke, we put him on the naughty list on that portable North Pole app where Santa does a personalised video. We did the adult video and made Santa say it's because he was caught weeing in the shower.
We honestly thought he'd find it funny because he obviously didn't believe in a Santa anymore, but no...he was SO upset and stormed out of the house crying. I felt SO bad!!!! I still do!!

What have been your parenting fails!!

I lost my 10yo in the shopping centre last week. She asked to go the toilet, there was one 50m away... and she never came back. We had to find security after 15 minutes. She reappeared 10 minutes after that... having wandered off across the whole centre on the search of one.

Yesterday, my 6 year old asked why the Easter bunny hadn't been. I'd bought eggs like I do every year and throughout last week family members had dropped them round and I'd left them on the table. I've never ever done egg hunts for any of my kids they've just been given eggs and that's it. I actually felt a bit guilty
