What is it like having baby number 3?

Hi
I have 2 daughters- 13 and 9. I had them young and DH and I have been together for 15 years. I am feeling broody for number 3 and DH is even more so. DH is a brilliant father, very helpful with sleepless nights etc but I am torn as to whether we should have number 3.

We live in a 3 bedroom house, I feel bad if the girls needed to share because of the baby but would it be so bad?

We are comfortable but not rich. The children have everything they need/want but it would be harder with another one.

Having a 10 year gap would be hard, wouldn't it?

It's now or never, due to my age and career.

What does everyone think? I need some perspective.

Personally I think you'd be mad to go back to the baby days with children at the ages of yours.

We've just had a baby and our older two are 10 and 11. People have commented like the pp about us being "mad to go back to the baby phase" but it's been amazing so far! The older kids are a bit more independent which makes life easier in terms of the baby needing a lot of attention. They're both completely in love with him and actually quite helpful as well.

We desperately wanted a third but circumstances and then a few miscarriages meant it took a while but I wouldn't change it for the world. I say go for it!
