Anyone else looking forward to going back to work ?

I try not to go anywhere on BH’s as the traffic and parking are usually rubbish, so this weekend has been a combination of cleaning, finishing off a series, and too much TikTok. So I’m actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, to get out of the house and see some people other than my family !
Anyone else ?

I love my job so I am looking forward to being back in the office.

Eh no. I only left there on Thursday. I would happily not go back for another month. Sadly I have to go back Tuesday.

I'm pleased my first day back is WFH. Just a bit quieter - easier to catch up on mails etc, and the meetings I have in the afternoon aren't very demanding. So hopefully a nice easy start. I have been away though!

Yes, but the weather is pretty rubbish around here which makes it hard to really enjoy the time off. 2 days of sunshine and now we're back to rain central.

But I'm also starting a new job, so together with the anticipation there is also some apprehension.

No. no desire at all, and I like my job.

I don't go far on bank holidays either but I'll cycle around the lanes, I go running, I've tidied the garden, painted the garden chairs - it all looks lovely, I have the windows open and the birds are singing, after weeks of rain. It smells of spring.

Later I'll bumble around some shoe shops in the nearest town. I'll make a meal. I might start painting the front of the house.

It's such a relief to be outside all day 🙂

I like my job but I'm happier on holiday and I hate getting up early.

Hell no. Luckily I'm on annual leave this week. I'm a nurse, and I really do love my job, but it's getting harder and harder. I'm feeling very fed up amd demoralised at the moment. I'd happily never go back.

Yes I love my job and I feel good at it, where as at home I quite often don't feel my happiest and am frustrated/stressed by the same things

I was back yesterday after a week off. I needed to be back for me! I do like my job though.
