Ideas for a cozy reading space?

I love nice warm blankets, beanbags, rugs, etc., due to my extremely limited vision, I can only read now by using big clunky pieces of technology which can scan and read my books aloud. I need to be next to a plug, and unfortunately in my home there is usually only one wall plug on each wall and it Hass to be used for the reading machine. So I can’t plug-in an electric blanket or a nice lamp.

Double adaptor?

My favourite bit of my reading space is a small revolving bookshelf. It reminds me of a crucial plot point in an Agatha Christie novel and it’s lovely to put my TBR books there.

Yes, I could do that with the double adapter. A revolving bookshelf sounds really cool. I have lost too much vision to be able to read print books, even with very strong magnification, but I still love my print books and just use the machines to keep reading them now.

We have next to no plug sockets and we have those gang plugs with the switches on them all over the place. We also have a few sets of battery controlled fairy lights and pretend candles all over the place.
