Ageism and menopause

I saw this article today about how everyone needs to be kind to menopausal women, who are often unable to work because we're losing our minds because menopause.

I've been looking for work for a while now, late forties, lots of rejections. I'm not sure this sort of article is helping!

Actually, it makes me feel a bit despairing.
