How to feel glam after mastectomy and general hard times?

My last decade has been an obstacle course of challenges including cancer treatment, bereavement, leaving an abusive relationship, divorce etc.. I'm now single parenting and back on my feet but feeling wiped out and like I've completely lost my mojo. Any tips on how to feel attractive again during middle age? I don't feel motivated to dress nicely and am not even sure how I want to look as an "older" 49 yrs woman eg. not keen on regular maintenance to dye grey hair since the pressure to do this is only on woman which is unfair, at the same time I want to feel confident about how I look. My body type is reasonably athletic but I feel like I've let everything else go. Any advice appreciated!

I’d say it’s less about looking attractive for others (right hair, weight) and more about feeling joyful. For me, that means eating well, reading good books, staying active, having a laugh with mates. Looking after yourself, in other words. You’ve had a hard decade, OP. It’s your turn now, to put yourself first for a bit.

I occasionally start looking after my nails, I feel quite glam when they are in good nick. I tend to just do it for the summer though.

A pedicure in may lasts me through the summer though, so that's effective.

Do stuff that you enjoy, like a PP says. Maybe a beautiful scarf that brings you joy, or start on jewellery, lipstick or hats!

Oh, and underwear! I buy pants from mardibum boutique. You choose your fabrics, so I have a fab collection of bold and bright undies.
