Bought a turkey crown from Tesco, have unwrapped to put in oven and there are a couple of very small slightly discoloured areas of skin around the neck, which look a very slightly yellow tinge, rather than the creamy-white skin.
It smells completely fine and the flesh is pink, the discoloured bits were just a couple of small bits just under the surface of the skin, not on the flesh.
I think I'm paranoid from seeing too many post xmas horror stories of rotten turkeys but I'd greatly appreciate any reassurance from chefs/butchers, etc..
