Am i going to be in trouble?

Hi

I popped down to the pharmacy today to collect some antibiotics from out of hours gp and outside a man was lying on the pavement.
He was extremely drunk and passed out. He had in the process wet himself too.
I rang for an ambulance and they said they would be there as soon as possible. I gave them my name.

While i was waiting he was breathing and mumbling to himself so i dont think he was seriously ill. (I wouldnt have left a seriously ill person)
His drunk girlfriend and a friend also walked up to him at one point and when i said ive called an ambulance she laughed and walked off. She came back a minute later stepped over him and went into the pharmacy/ shop behind him.
I have cellulitis at the moment in both legs so i couldnt stand for long and i had been stood there for 20 minutes but i was having a hard time standing so i had to leave. His girlfriend was hanging around but not necessarily near him.

Am i going to get into trouble for leaving him there? I dont know what else i could do. I couldnt give him any medical attention on the count i can barely stand. This was in the centre of town outside a pharmcy so he should have been ok right?

I would have left too but I would've gone inside to the pharmacy staff and explained the situation so they could keep an eye.

Of course you arent going to be in trouble, I really dont understand why you imagine you would be?

Hi. Yes he will probably be known to the police/ambulance service already. I did the same once and they told me they know him and regular occurrence. However good that you were the good Samaritan on Easter Sunday. Have a lovely day🐰

No you won't be in trouble and you did the right thing to call an ambulance.

No you won't be in trouble. You didn't cause his issue and you called the relevant authorities before leaving. You didn't hoax them and you are I'll yourself.

It's not like a hit and run you simply couldn't stay but got him help.
