Any fun ‘girls’ weekend trip with DD4 recommendations?

I’d like to take DD4 on a little trip just me and her one weekend this summer (will do a separate trip with DS). Last summer we went to Margate and she loved it and still talks about our ‘girly weekend’ - but it’s a bit far to go again (we’re based in South East) and would like to try somewhere new :)

I thought about a weekend in London but think she’s a little young to get the best out of most of the attractions / shows etc.

Was thinking about a trip to Brighton- beach/ pier etc though imagine it’ll be pretty manic in summer hols…

Anyone care to inspire me with other ideas, preferably in the SE of England?

TIA!

Folkestone? Or what about Hythe/Dymchurch. There is the RHDR steam train, Dymchurch has a beach, arcades etc.

I've taken mine to centre parcs a couple of times myself. Really enjoyed it as once there no driving or car to worry about.

Leigh on sea? Old Leigh is lovely and the high street has some great shops, there is also a day spa designed for kids which gets good reviews. Also very close to southend which isn't as nice but lots to do

The new forest?
Wildlife park, activity farm, some lovely beaches - or if you can face it.... Peppa pig world/ Poultons Park

Lovely child centred hotel:
