Can I get a train from Waterloo to Winchester tomorrow?

Looking at the South Western trains website and I can see that there must be engineering works and/or replacement buses on at least some of the journey because the journey time is two hours instead of the usual one.

But I cannot see anywhere on the site that tells me where these alterations are! Are trains actually departing from Waterloo?

I don't know if I'm being unusually dense or if the website it just a bit shite.

Does anyone know?

Have you tried the plan my journey button? I just searched Waterloo to Winchester and every option was 'bus'. Trainline app also says rail replacement service.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean op?

Trainline is showing the journey as train to Woking then bus from there.

National Rail website is about as old as Bebo or MySpace, as are most of the train companies.

I could have booked a coach but it takes me 1 hour to get to the coach station by public transport. It's just quicker to drive. A shame but these are the choices you make when public transport isn't doing what it should be doing.
