Cabin bag to fit under seat

I'm packing for a flight and struggling to find a bag that meets EasyJet's 'small cabin bag' dimensions: 45cm x 36cm x 20cm.

It's the 20cm that's the problem. I feel like I need an old-fashioned briefcase with rigid sides, like my dad used to take to the office.

Can anyone recommend a bag that fits those dimensions? For a future trip, obviously! For tomorrow I'm going to have to manage with one of the dc's little rucksacks.

I just came back from British Airways flights so baggage more generous but no one checked the sizes of our had luggage or if they fitted under the seats in front.
We all just took a rucksack rack.

You must be looking at the wrong types of bags if you're struggling with this.

There are literally thousands of bags available that will fit the bill.

Rucksacks, holdalls, cross body bags. Just use a bag you've already got and make sure it's not rammed full so you can squish it under the seat.

No-one takes any notice of your small carry on bag unless it is massively bigger than the size limit or a wheelie case that won't fit under the seat.
