A quick ‘can we eat this?’

I got a curry box meal (don’t judge me) from Tesco this evening. There was only one left and it was right at the back. I’ve come to heat it up now and realised it was slightly frozen, presumably from being at the back of a very cold fridge.

Can I heat them now as usual or should I wait for them to defrost before I microwave them? The chips and bhajis are nearly done!

I’d do it as long as they were absolutely piping hot all the way through before you ate them

It honestly wouldn’t even occur to me not to eat this. Crack on!

Yep heat well and enjoy

Thanks guys, even the rice? That seems to be the most frozen but I’m stirring it and it seems to be defrosting.

So much for a quick and easy meal, I’m more stressed than if I was doing a banquet 😆

Yes of course it will be OK. Just cook it for a bit longer until it’s hot right through.

I would. My logic would be that a curry you can buy and cook from frozen is made no differently to the curry you are currently reheating.
