Looking for a portable air conditioning unit

Can anyone suggest a good one ?
The ones in B&Q all seem to use a hose which goes out the window, but my windows don’t slide up, the top opens out.

You will need to place a hose out of the window for them to effectively work, but there's plenty of options here with extended hoses, so hopefully one will be long enough to reach out the top of your window.

How does it work when the window is higher than the unit ?
