Small spot with white covering. Dr said it would need plastic surgery to remove. How do I find one?

It looks like a little black head and has this white film covering it. I can't remember what he said it was called but how do I find someone to remove it?

Plastic surgery sounds very dramatic?

It's like the smallest pimple but it's on my lip area.
It's been there for years and I just happened to remember to ask doctor about it last week. I thought he would advise a cream or something so I was shocked when he said plastic surgeon!

Just looked at millia. It's not dismimilar but mine has more distinct white film covering it

So this is clearly not medical advice but I had a little milia thing on the bottom of my eye. My beautician wouldn’t touch it as it was near the eye and said it would need to be surgically removed.
So I of course just fiddled with it and scraped it and poked at it and finally managed to kind of open it and then it went away.
Nowt a good squeeze can’t fix!

Just google private dermatologist's in your area. It will be like a mole removal where they either shave it or do a tiny excision.
