School - Google Reviews

I just checked out DCs primary school on Google Maps in satellite view. I was looking for a way to walk there safely (the back of the school leads to another part of town that I don't know well)

I'm absolutely shocked at the amount of Google Reviews by recognisable / named parents!! (These were mainly negative, legit and well composed reviews by actual parents!)

Has anyone Google Reviewed a school? What did you hope it achieved?

I'm just so surprised. I'm naive, yes! 😂

my guilty pleasure is looking at random google reviews of schools. In my experience secondary schools are always full of 1 (‘wish I could give it zero’) star reviews written by upset teens who were Shock Horror put in isolation for no reason! Yeah of course: there you were, minding your own business and a teacher randomly put you into isolation .

I actually just checked Google to see if anyone on here had written a post about school reviews. Seeing as this is only 10 days old I am posting in the hope your thead will get bumped. 🤞Op!

Many of the google maps reviews are silly, but legitimate sensible ones can be useful in deciding what school to send your child to.
