Ploom trying to quit smoking

Has anyone used Ploom x sticks as alternative to cigarettes, I wasn’t keen on the liquid vapes and wondered if anyone could advise on the Ploom sticks before I buy the device. Thanks

I have not used the Ploom x sticks, but I assume that are similar to the IQOS devices. What is your motivation for using them? I must admit that they do appear cheaper than cigarettes. I spend around £60 a week on cigarettes and I think that I could save at least £30 a week by using these devices.

Thanks for mentioning ICOS as I hadn’t heard of them and just ordered the device with 2 packs of sticks for £10, I didn’t really want to spend £50 for the Ploom not knowing if I would get on ok with it. I would like to cut down the expense on cigarettes I have been a heavy smoker for over 30 years I also have a trip to Mexico coming up and smoking and vaping is banned there perhaps they will allow this device as its smoke free I will be taking patches with me if it gets confiscated!

Have you tried IQOS yet? If so how do you find them compared to cigarettes?

I have had it a week now and been a bit hit and miss with it, not keen on the tobacco flavour so going to pick up a few different ones to try, they rang me today and suggested I use just the ICOS and not have any of my normal cigs which will be a struggle for me but I’m going to give that a go after the weekend. I definitely prefer it to a vape and all the other stick gadgets I’ve tried over the years, if I can get the right tobacco taste this will be a game changer!

Have you tried different flavors with the IQOS e-cig yet? Are you finding that you can use it in place of your normal cigarettes or do you still smoke cigarettes as well?
