I'm unwell and a family member went above and beyond looking after my children all day so i could rest. It was a very long day and she much more than i could have hoped for at a difficult time. I want to send her a small food shopping delivery to say thanks. She's on disability benefits and does struggle so I want to get her things that are both practical but a treat from the norm as well as a few things with longevity. It would be good if she could make a few meals rather than just snacks. Ideally I want to spend about £40.
So far I've come up with:
Wine
Cookies
Sausages
Bacon
Eggs
Orange juice
Part baked bread
Tins of nice soup
Cake of some kind
Pizza
Garlic bread
Nice pasta
Nice pasta sauce
Cheese
Crackers
Butter
I'd welcome some more ideas please.
