Decorating an egg 🙄
We are currently on Egg number 3 and day number 5. Dd2 slightly the perfectionist, spent Saturday evening and Sunday applying coats of paint to said egg. Dd1 accidentally knocked 'the egg' over making lunch so dp races to the shops to buy more eggs so he can boil and cool some ready for dd2 to finish school. Monday and Tuesday after school and Tuesday morning before school spent tending to 'the new egg' more careful coats of paint required, plus the making of 'the stage' for 'the egg'.
Now we have to transport the egg to school, according to dd it is far to precious to go in a carrier bag. She must carry it the whole way in her hands even though it's raining. This is an optional project/competition and dd has her eyes on first place.
I'm almost certain we have a solar system to make over Easter break for homework.
