I need a bit of help with. Some wedding telated queries as we think they are quite important.
Stepson marrying aug bank Hol. He's grown up with ĵewish patents ( by bith whio never expressed interest in it. so it consequently mating Jewish by choice. He's taken to do this without any real knowledge of the structure of many Jewish weddings based in the synagogue etc) his Fiancee did a virtual conversinon for reform synagogue so may be unaware of different customs related to synagogues etc and and maybe Jewish weddings to encompass this for relatives of fh etc and have attended many outover the years ( I'm not Jewish but had very formal wedding)
Scenario
230 wedding in shul its reform- do you need to tell prorple and you're lax it is ie you can show arms ones c and no head cover if that is the case* I would expect to be very covered with a hat if à want told. Iv think others might too)
Reception lus about a 20 to 25 min walk away after everyone Has done photo divert. Venue is some type of fancy restaurant within a ballroom set up in Kensington. Cocktail bars I think with snack s going on to eating and now drinking and dancing with cocktails i think but we don't know. They haven't actually ordered invitation yet so we are wondering what to expect.
We have experience dxa bin black tie Jewish wedding personal y. He said that? . Fiancee said its going to be casual wear anything you want. It's very odd. When Youlgreave you expect to know details from your children. As guests to actually receive invitations especially Ias it's over the aug bank Hol weekend and people are all telling me in London theyre is always a dress code stipulated curently. When should we know. They suggested beets a week and mouth before the serving!
And what can step monthers and 5 year old very excited sister wear if B&G say they don't care. Clearly i won't wear white!
From experience what would you say.
For a formal wedding in August. If there is a dress code when do you need to know with Ebrington buying summer outfits for May. June and Jul weddings them summer clothes sold or end June start August. I think some reasonable earning. Other din is panicking as he said he needs to save for a new suit and he needs to know the price point( il pay but these things are important
Also a bit worried as it's bound to turn into chaos at this rate abs we will be berthed to assist in a frenzy il help in bank l calm staff but rather not in a tornado°
