Not beach and pool weather

Not hot - mid teens C during the day, chilly when it’s dark. Maybe colder, maybe warmer of course.

We’ve been to the Algarve a few times at that time of year and it’s lovely for walking but only warm enough to sit out if you’re in the sunshine and you may still need a pullover.

… and it’s generally a little bit warmer in the Algarve.

Warmer than the UK at best. They had snow at the end of February this year.

Palma and other bigger / inland towns and cities will be business as usual, but many of the smaller 'holiday' resorts will be almost totally shuttered and closed in terms of hotels, restaurants and bars.
