If your DH/DP is on the autism spectrum how often do they show emotion?

I've been with DH over 25 years and have never seen him cry. Even when his grandmother who he was very close to died.

I also have never seen him laugh out loud, the most he does if amused is to give a wry smile.

Don't get me wrong I know he loves me and shows me in the things he physically does ( I've become disabled and he looks after me fantastically) but I've just realised that I had never seen him properly laugh.

All the time. Both DP and I (both autistic) feel emotion very intensely and express it to one another.

We're less likely to express emotion to other people.
