Socks for teenage boys!

DS(13) cannot tell me what the others wear, as he is completely oblivious and to be fair, most are still in trousers.

If yours are wearing shorts, do they wear ankle socks or trainer socks?

Absolutely.

Unless the black ones are somehow special. If you pay £40 for some ridiculous collaboration sock, it’s ok for them to be not white.

but if the logo on the sock is not impressive enough to overcome not being white, they need to be white. 🤣

Another vote for white ankle socks (and yes you do need to pretty much boil wash them!) My DS has a mix of adidas ones, the ones you get in a big multipack from sports direct, and some Primark versions. He also likes novelty socks.

Yes to white Nike sports socks! I can’t open the link but I can’t imagine a teenager wearing any sandals except slides or crocs.

Mum to 2 teenage boys here and it's a yes to white Nike socks and sliders.

My DS13 wears ankle socks because he prefers them to trainer socks although I don’t think it matters much - just make sure he is comfortable with them. :)
