As well as stomach pain and stomach upset?

It shouldn’t do that sounds more like stomach flu

Stomach upset yes - my niece would
Projectile vomit after dairy until she was about 6, then just went to a stomach ache, she was floppy after milk as a baby. Then it all wore off and she grew out of it.

She had some super weird symptoms when she was really small

My son with a dairy allergy can get stomach pain and upset if he eats dairy. Never a fever with it though.

I have never known a CMPI/A to cause a fever. I have known viral gastroenteritis to cause a fever, and subsequently to cause a temporary secondary lactose intolerance.

He had a fever spike but has been unwell, but had dairy reintroduced today and was crying and complaining of a stomach upset, had lots of wind then projectile vomited everywhere

Thanks for all the replies looks like the fever is more likely tied to the virus I thought he had recovered from (hadn’t had a temp since yesterday morning) rather than the dairy

I can sometimes spike a slight fever after I’ve eaten dairy - along with stomach ache and upset.

It can feel like the beginning part of flu when you ache everywhere, can’t get warm, teeth chattering etc but generally that bit only lasts for a couple of hours after dairy exposure.

The fever isn’t every time I’m exposed to dairy though and if he’s also had a virus recently I’d be more inclined to blame that.
