Anyone else a sufferer? Richard herring described it perfectly. Apparently only 1% of the population have it, who knew!

No, but I swear I read a thread about this either today or yesterday.

Was that you OP? Talking about not being able to visualise an elephant for example?

Deadringer · 02/04/2023 23:54

There is another very long thread on this

Is 'suffering" the right term?

MrsDoylesDoily · 02/04/2023 23:56

Oh it worked Blush

Allmyghosts · 02/04/2023 23:56

No, wasn't me. It's weird to think though that I have a very different experience of the world to 99% of people. Explains a lot lol.

If it is you have ever known, then you have nothing to compare it to.

I listened to a radio programme on this recently, and realised that I can only imagine things with my eyes open. If anyone says “close your eyes and imagine an elephant,” I’m useless. I can happily imagine all manner of elephants while I’m typing this, though.
