I live on a street of HA houses and have had ongoing problems with a neighbour since moving in. She’s loud, rude, aggressive, goes through the rubbish bins and parks her car across both our driveways so I’m unable to park my car. I’ve approached the housing association about this and after over a year of no progress being made my housing officer has advised they are taking the legal route with the neighbour for breach of tenancy (there’s other stuff going on as well including rent arrears and antisocial/violent behaviour - 5 other residents of the street have also made complaints)
I’ve heard that evicting a HA tenant is really difficult and court is more likely to side with the tenant. Does anyone know if this is true and the likely timescales for legal action? Between the parking issues, noise and constant threats of violence I’m miserable and dread coming home 😞
