Ideas for trip to London please

Two adults (female if it matters) visiting London and surrounding areas. Have car. Love quirky, off beat places. Enjoy shopping and eating! Would enjoy London markets, day trip to Oxford, for instance.
Please can anyone recommend some lesser known places or just just great days out? We are in the area for ten days.

Wandering along the South Bank is always good (as is veering off into the trendy bits of Bermondsey)

If coming after 21 April, there's a new exhibition in the Queen's Gallery on "Dressing the Georgians"

You could pop out to Bushy on a Saturday, and do the parkrun where it all started, then head to Hampton Court

Or perhaps do both Tate galleries, getting the Thames Clipper to go between the two by boat, having lunch in the crypt at St John's Smith Square
