What would you think if I said all the “what would you think…” threads are a bit annoying?

Is it just me or has this weekend seen a massive increase in threads asking what people think about the most facile and insipid issues around. Can people not trust their own judgement anymore when it comes to the simplest of matters or is this just a stealth boast?

I’m thinking specifically about the bus salad thread.

I agree - it's a bit like "I want to buy a house but don't know whether prices are going to increase or decrease - what would you think?"
