Taking food on Eurostar

I'm a bit confused as to whether we can bring any M&S sandwiches etc with us on the train from London or whether we're restricted to the post-Brexit rules about no meat, dairy etc. When does this apply? Presumably as long as we've eaten them by the time we go through customs in France we're ok?

I went to Amsterdam last year and we got sandwiches in m and s before for the train and it was fine.

I have always taken an m&s picnic on eurostar....
