If you purchased a chicken on Thursday, cooked it on Friday and put it in the fridge. Would you eat it on Sunday or would you consider it gone bad?

No, it’s fine for three days after cooking.

Sorry, is that no to it having gone bad or no to eating it?

It would be fine.

Yes of course, I often meal prep lunches for 4 days. Including chicken.

Eat it, it’s fine for 3/4 days.

Yes would eat

I never eat chicken after more than 48 hours of cooking. Thought that was the guidance? It would make me feel a bit sick to eat 4 day old chicken even if it was fine. The idea would gross me out.

If you cooked it Friday night tonight would only be about 48 hours anyway. Yes I'd happily eat it on Sunday.

I'd eat it within 3-4 days. It's fine now.
