Flat next to me is being used as a brothel I think ?

6 months ago the flat next door to me was rented to new tenants. I’ve seen them the odd few times there an elderly Chinese gentleman and a slightly younger woman. I couldn’t work out why 3 out of five times I would find old men waiting outside or entering the flat when coming home but assumed they had lots of friends. It’s got more frequent and I find it intimidating when coming home to find strange men in my corridor. I joked to my partner that it’s all a bit dodgy as the man always opens the door and hurry’s them in. Some flat holders had some packages stolen around Christmas time and put a sign up asking if anyone else had any taken too and to sign it. One replied saying it’s not helping that flat no* is a brothel. Is there anything I can do about this it’s getting more frequent and last night when coming home I thought this guy was following me so I waited in the lobby he then came back to ask me if I new where ex flat was as he couldn’t find it. I obviously have no hard evidence and don’t want to accuse anyone but just want to feel safer in my own flat building.

Cctv on the front door, can't see the punters wanting to be identified. Or phone the police to put their door in.

Report to the modern slavery hotline here www.modernslavery.gov.uk/start#:~:text=Call%20the%20modern%20slavery%20helpline,700%20or%20report%20it%20online

If it is a brothel (and sounds like it is) the women have almost certainly been trafficked.

If you have any suspicions at all, please report.

Yes, absolutely report it!

Bet the landlord or HA or whoever rents out the building would not be too pleased either.

Oh, and if you can do it anonymously so much the better.

The hotline mentioned above would be a good call.

I had a Chinese girl live above me who was working as a prostitute. Nearly every night I had to listen to her "working" & to her pimp calling every Saturday morning to collect the takings. I complained to the housing but they said as the flat was privately rented they couldn't do anything. Thankfully she eventually moved out. Whenever she was working I played loud music to drown out all the moaning & groaning.
