To feel so sad?

Currently on holiday in Gran Canaria
Coming home tomorrow
I've felt so sad all day today
Been so excited for this holiday for months and now it's over
Had the best time
We are going to Lanzarote in November but that seems like a lifetime away
Does anyone get like this?

Not whilst I am still on holiday.
Normally the holiday blues kick in once I am back in work
