Keep me company waiting in Urgent care

Ate some roast beef earlier, some now stuck in my chest.

It's laughable but it's so bloody painful, called 111 who sent me here 'within the hour'

Been waiting 45 mins to check in at reception. I am in agony, want to have a little cry really.

Send me something to make me smile

Have you tried drinking something very fizzy? That's the first thing UC are going to get you to try and if you can do so in the waiting room then you might save yourself several hours of sitting around waiting to be seen.

Yes thanks though I have tried drinking all sorts

red Coca Cola was recommended by A&E when a relative got meat stuck. Good luck OP!

As in breathed in? Or stuck in oesophagas?

I've had the latter as have members of my family and it's awful. Mine is around gel capsule antibiotics and I find a small piece of bread can help alleviate.

How long have you been waiting now in urgent care? Hope you are seen soon (if you haven't already)

Coke or alka seltzer
Lump of butter
Soggybread

Or just wait it out

Hope you've been taken through and they've got it out for you now 🤞
