Hello fellow Mums. I am doing an MA at Nottingham Uni in Trauma (I am a registered therapist) and also undergoing EMDR in therapy at the moment with the view to training in it next year. My next uni assignment allows me to do a Case Study in any aspect of trauma that I wish and I am keen to do one on EMDR. I have had a positive experience of EMDR (undergoing it at the mo) and my case study currently includes people who had a different but equally positive experience. I am though keen include an alternative view of EDMR in my assignment, perhaps where it didn't work quite as hoped, where the presenting issues were varied and perhaps not specific enough for EMDR or where there may have been difficulties with the therapist.
