Sourdough starter doesn't seem to be working

I started a sourdough starter a week ago today. It stopped doing anything much after day 4.

I followed an online recipe, which is
day 1 - 60g wholewheat bread flour and 6g warm water
Day 2 - leave it alone
Day 3 to today, daily - remove half the starter and add 60g water and 60g flour (mix of wholewheat and white bread flours)
Kept in a 1litre kilner jar in a warmish area of the kitchen.

Days 1 to 3/4 it grew a bit, bubbled and smelled a bit like vomit, so all seemed to be going well. But it's not done anything much since then. It no longer stinks.
Do I keep persevering? Or is there something I should tweak to kick-start it again?

Assuming you have a typo here, and added 60g water on day one it sounds perfectly normal.
It can easily take over 2 weeks for the starter to be usable. Just be patient and keep going

Agh, yes 60g water 😆
Will it start to grow significantly if it's working?

Yes, it should soon start doubling in size after a couple of hours.

if nothing happens after 2-3 weeks its dead though. Until then it’s pretty much a guessing game

Ah thanks. OK I'll persevere for another 10 to 14 days then start again if it fails 🤦🏼‍♀️

You've got to carry it round with you so it can grab mould from the air
