Things to feed children

Mine are grown up now and I have no responsibility for what they eat. But sometimes I come across something that might have changed my life when they were younger and I really want to share it. My current obsession is okonomyaki. Lots of recipes online. Maybe avoid the bonito. But I can't imagine a child not liking it. And you can sneak in loads of vegetables. And it's ready in 10/15 minutes.

I've googled and I love Japanese food so will definitely make it, especially as I have a cabbage, which always seems to last ages when cooking for one or two.

But I think your imagination is rather limited if you think you could offer the average British (non MN especially) child a cabbage omelette and expected them to eat it without any complaints.
