Specifically, ability to orgasm. I was on Sertraline 50mg daily October 2019-September 2020. Started tapering off that September, very slowly, and finally stopped altogether April 2022.
Symptoms reappeared over the summer and I went back on to 25mg daily September 2022. All good mood wise since then.
However my sex drive is on the low side - probably was anyway to be honest; 2 young, challenging kids, busy lives, been together a long time, usual marital bickering. But I have always achieved orgasm with my DH - either during sex itself or more usually afterwards from oral sex. Have never found it difficult to orgasm.
We’ve had sex 3 times this year (not unusual but it’s obviously not much!) and the last two times I’ve been unable to orgasm at all. I can still manage myself, but to be honest I have no desire to, I couldn’t tell you the last time I masturbated when it probably used to be much more often.
Done a bit of research and clicked it might well be the Sertraline? Very frustrating as it didn’t happen first time round when I was on it, even when I was taking 50mg daily. Sex with my DH is still enjoyable the infrequent times we do it, but the inability to reach orgasm with DH has unsettled me.
