Pat day weekend! What have you got planned?

It's been a long bloody month here!

I did want to go to the pictures but nowhere is showing the film I wanted to see in English (we are not in the UK), nearest cinema that is, is 2 hours away 🙄so we're going to have a little bbq tomorrow, burgers, tandoori chicken, corn on the cob 😛

Might go to the beach for a bit, and go on a big long dog walk. Gym too 💪

I'm just buzzing that we've paid, its been more than bloody tight for weeks 💃Wont last long though 😂

it was pay day last Friday for me but I don't "celebrate" in any way different to any other weekend. I more came here to find out what Pat Day is 😂

I thought we had the shamrocks out a few weeks ago 😂

DH and I went out for lunch.

Welll, to the Ice Cream parlour and had a massive sundae each without the kids. 😇

It might be pay day weekend but I have no money already! - the council tax has gone up and it's the first payment this month, energy bills are going up on 1st, our phones etc are going up on the 5th.

Just bought Easter eggs for everyone, some nice bits for Easter Sunday dinner next week and a few of treats for DC as it's the Easter holidays and I can't afford to take them anywhere.

This weekend we're staying in and watching the Formula 1. The whole family enjoy watching it, will probably open a couple of treats that we got for Easter as we'll all have our eggs for next weekend 😀

We don't normally but this month has been sooo tight, and the sun is shining, its warming up, I feel very pub gardeny, but I'm going to the gym instead.

It's been playing with rain every minute of the day here. Pay day is a week away, I've got £18 in my purse, and am using the overdraft to cover the direct debits

I did wonder whether it was a special day for portable appliance testing!

Where are you OP? I can't even imagine going to the beach at the moment , might light the fire and pour a glass of port.

I get paid in the middle of the month! So it's belt tightening weekend here!!
