Buying NI years - has deadline definitely been extended? Now July?

Exactly that - I read that deadline for buying additional years (under one-off the transitional arrangements) was April, but is now changed to 31 July.

My Gateway account has glitched, online help isn't helping, and I can't get through on the phone. No doubt phone lines will free up after end FY. And I think I can safely leave it until then, but am just having an outbreak of the Nervous Nellies and wanted to check

(also hoping that thread title reminds anyone else who was thinking of buying that they - fingers crossed - still have plenty of time to do so)

Yes, it has.

Voluntary National Insurance Contributions(NICs) deadline extension agreed until 31 July 2023. The government has extended the voluntary National Insurance deadline to 31 July 2023 to give taxpayers more time to fill gaps in their National Insurance record and help increase the amount they receive in State Pension.

Thank you - I shall delay this with confidence
