Where's your airer?

Where do you dry your clothes?
I got rid of my tumble dryer as it was costing a fortune! Now I have 2 airers which seem to be up all the time! When I go in other people's homes ( no massive spacious mansions with laundry rooms) they don't have them , so where are they drying their clothes?

Do some of your friends not have tumble dryers? Otherwise they’re just doing what we all do when we have visitors, panicking and shoving things in whatever space they’re not likely to be noticed.

If it’s a “good drying day” then outside on the patio or decking (depending on where the sun is at that point).

Through the winter, then they’re in one of the spare bedrooms.

I don’t have kids, but still moan to myself re washing/drying. If I won the lottery, one of my definite extravagances would be outsourcing washing/drying. I’d like to add ironing, but can’t moan about that as can’t remember the last time I used an iron!

I have a Sheila maid above the wood burner in one room and some lines in the boiler room. If fine, outside on a line.

Conservatory which has direct access to patio. If it's nice I stick it out there, bring in if raining/dark

A few of us were out this week, of the 7 out, only 2 have got tumbles. Mire used to but as they broke they haven't been replaced

Spare room. Don't look in there, it's also got my wardrobes, storage and gym
