How to save money?

I've got a confession, I've never saved money I'm not in debt I just work longer/overtime to get the money I want. I realise this isn't sustainable. I've realised I want a new car in a few years and to save for some other things . What are your tips for cutting massively back and getting savings in the pot?

Decide how much you want to save a month and on the day you get paid move it into savings before you can spend it. Try treating your savings like another bill that needs to be paid on pay day. Good luck!
